did they break through a fault? or was it your fault?

maybe you could ring the place who make them, there should be a phone number with the leaflets and stuff you got with them.

i think the cheapest ive seen is like £80. you'd be lucky to go much lower to be honest

yep sorry, i was just all of a tizzy and kinda forgot to explain what it was yeh...Good Hair Day straighteners, they are the best...i cant live without them and they are broke! they just sparked and fused and kinda blew up in my hand...it happened before but i got them fixed, but the guy who fixed them said if it happened again its probably better to get a new pair...they are only covered by the warranty for a year and ive had them longer
so i dunno. i might say it happened on holiday and claim off my travel insurance...i dunno what to do...

    1. They're ceramic (but yes ,so are other straighteners)
    2. They're light-weight
    3. They're the most powerful hair straighteners on the market. Others are good. Very good some of them. But GHD's are amazing.
    4. They heat within 5 seconds
    5. They maintain they're heat
    6. They totally smooth out and eliminate any frizz from your hair.
    7. You can flick it, twist it, even curl your hair with GHD's.
    8. They are worth every penny.

God, i should like, be their sales manager :p

I have to agree with all that.
GHD's make my life worth living. I couldn't DREAM about living if it wasn't for GHD's... Worth every single god damned penny.

*is worried about her mental health, being in love with a pair of hair straighteners!*

Do you have straight hair already?

I have very frizzy curly hair and nothing except GHD will work on them.

I have very frizzy curly hair. I'm using Babyliss straight and shine at the moment. I like them cos you get the shot of steam - not sure if it helps, but it makes me think they're working better. Anyway, I end up with straight hair at the end of it! Only problem is the top bits stay a bit frizzy cos I can't get the straighteners to get right near my roots! Still a bit of hair serum at the end seems to do the trick.

I had better not try GHD's, as they sound far too good, and I would be tempted to buy some. They sound very expensive though :( And if they keep breaking like that.....

i think it might be my fault they broke. you arent supposed to wrap the lead around them and i did a few times. it twists the wires inside. i think thats what happened.

i just straightened my hair with my sisters futuras. its just not the same...sigh....

    :(

i dont even have any money to get a new pair.

There are some new straighteners out, and you can change the temperature setting. Go upto 410 degrees or something I'm told. The GHD ones go upto 300 or something?

I've had other straightners, these are much better. My hair is normally a curly wavy frizzy mess.

When I've just straightened it, it's dead nice :(

Doesn't stay like it though
