can anyone decipher lecturer talk?

i need to take an elective outside of my main subject to make my credits up. i need 300 credits to get my degree, and 360 credits to get honours.

i was emailing a different school about one of their modules, and i got this reply:

"As a final year student you would take our elective modules
as Special Skills Elective modules. All of our modules except
for one (FLTU4313 is classed as University level 2 and therefore can be taken as normal elective by all students) are classed as
University level 1 and are therefore Special Skills Elective
Modules. Special Skills Elective Modules DO count towards your
degree but are not double- weighted (the mark is added to the
tally of your second year and not your final year). "

if it's added to the tally of my 2nd year marks, will i get 140 for the second year and 100 for the final year and still get my honours?

i'm lost.
