Jobs and their morality

I was just thinking, and if a job is immoral, but done well, is the person doing it to be praised or condemned?

For example-Nazi Germany. Goebbels, the minister for propaganda. His job-to use and create propaganda to make people believe in Nazi ideology, which he quite effectively did. Shiould he be praised for doing his job well, or condemned for what he actually did as part of his job?
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

Whatever a person does for their job is their decision, everyone has to make a living...Goebbels did a brilliant job though.

No one condemns Goebbel for being the propaganda minister as such. But for the propaganda he spread.

    Quite simple.

In the death camps the Germans got Jewish inmates to clear the gas chambers of bodies and put them in the furnace....they did it!! what choice did they have, I'm sure they did it well too.....but some survivors have testified that they had to deal with it buy not viewing the dead bodies as people.

Theres a difference between doing a job because you want to and doing a job because you are forced to.

Well if a group of people planned to murder someone and successfully carried it out, the people in the group would praise the people who were involved.

Of course, every day people wouldn't praise something bad. But then again everyone has their own idea of what is right and wrong. If you believe that something bad is okay, then you should praise them for their good job.

Im not asking whether they are moral or not, im asking whether they should be praised for doing their job well, or condemned for the job that they do.
