    On the mobile version when you click on a thread that you've already read, clicking on the link takes you to the first post in the thread, not last unread. This isn't an issue in itself, but there are no go to last page links at the top of the page, you have to scroll to the bottom and click the number. Can there be something at the top?

    Thanks for all of this everyone! This constant feedback is really helpful :)

    So it sounds like the key issues are:
    • Speed - everything being slow (particularly on tapatalk)
    • Notifications - the notifications panel looks like a dog has chewed it and email notifications aren't working
    • New Threads button - not always working
    • Display order of threads - not always chronological by last post
    • Difficult to get to last post in visited threads on mobile
    • Some form elements look strange (e.g. when customising profile, entering contact info, DOB etc.)
    • Not seeing uploaded pictures on tapatalk
    • No multi-quote
    Am I missing anything important?

    Here's what we've done and will be doing about these. We have:
    • Installed a couple of patches - a bit like software updates - that fixed about 100 bugs. This is why the boards went down this week.
    • Upgraded or updated pretty much all the other back-end stuff, which seems to have dealt with the speed issue (not sure about Tapatalk though)
    • Logged all the design-related issue you've mentioned (like the notifications panel) with our tech team, who will start working through them
    Just a quick note about multi-quote: it is currently a feature, but it works a bit differently. Here's how to do it:

    Click the quote button once, it will add the quote to the reply box. Click it again in another post, and you'll see an orange 'post reply (x)' button in the grey bar at the top of the thread (where 'x' is the number of quotes you've clicked). Press this button when you have finished quoting, and all the quotes will go into the reply box.
    It's admittedly not as easy as it used to be, which is annoying. Guess we'll have to get used to it!

    I have one more! I tried to link two songs in the Good Tunes thread last night, and it wouldn't post it with both links on there. I tried one and worked, though. :) Also, dumb question, can you still hyperlink text? Am I missing an obvious button?

    Have you tried clicking the Toggle advanced editor button? Not sure if it's in there or not, but it could be

    Also, my .gif still doesn't work as an avatar. :p It uploads and you can see a still version of it, but no movement.

    I couldn't upload attachments from tapa last week, I don't know whether this has already been fixed?

    It tells you on the home page of each forum who made the last post, which thread and date. Expect, it's not always right. For example - I posted this morning in "the last movie you watched thread" but it's showing as someone else having posted there (in that thread) a few days ago. If I go to that thread, it shows my post as the last post; so I know that my post hasn't been deleted.

    Yep, annoyingly the way the boards software stores images means that animated GIFs don't work (neither does transparency on GIFs or PNGs). We took a look at this and there doesn't seem to be a way around this I'm afraid :(

    We're not sure if this is still an issue - the updates may have fixed it. If you come across this again, can you let us know? :)

    We've noticed this too - a pretty strange bug as bugs go. It's on our fix list, so we'll be investigating soon ;)

    I wonder if the message is referring to the reply box and not the thread itself. Out of interest, are you able to reply to that thread?

    It won't let me upload an image of it (this is an issue too for me rn), but whenever I try to go on the 'what's new' page on my phone it comes up saying "sphinx_not_configured" any idea what that's about?
    Also, when I tried to access this page on my phone to report that issue it came up with something saying "This action could not be completed. Please try again, and if this occurs again contact the system administrator and tell them how you got this message" < That's come up a few times now.
    I'm also getting errors keep popping up? Like it's literally just a grey box that says error right in the middle, it doesn't say what the error is about or is for.

    I wasn't able to reply to the thread when I noticed the reply box wasn't there.

    Thanks again Hiccup. We've made some changes that we hope have fixed these random errors you keep seeing. Can you let us know if they keep happening (and what device you're seeing them on)? Same goes for the 'What's New' issue.

    Are you unable to upload images on mobile (if so, are you on Tapatalk or a normal browser)? How about desktop?

    The errors haven't happened since, but the error on the what's new page was happening on my iPhone and the pop up errors were happening on my laptop.

    I'm unable to upload images from anything right now, thesite has stopped working on tapatalk for me. I tried to upload from a browser on my phone but it wouldn't do it and when I tried on my laptop it wouldn't let me either

    I have received a pm but all the boxes are on top of each other (mobile, chrome). Tapa is also not working at all for me!

    The message centre is a bit of a mess at the moment! But if you go to 'Inbox' in your message centre, you should be able to see your PMs displayed properly. Does that work?

    I can't upload from mobile but... It's showing half a letter a line.

    I know speed has already been mentioned, but I just thought I'd add that I'm finding the boards SO slow. I'm using chrome on iPad, and to be honest they're pretty much unusable. Seems strange when I can stream videos etc and all other websites fine.

    Yep, as I mentioned somewhere above, we're still working on the speed thing - it's better than it was for most people, but we're not quite there yet. Bear with us :)

    I noticed this with attachments I've tried to upload as well. Seems to be happening quite often :chin:

    We did a bit of testing last week, which involved deleting some test threads in Anything Goes - reckon it might have something to do with that. Do let us know if you spot something like that again :)

    Attachments do seem to be an issue for some people - we'll look into it :)

    There does seem to be a problem with the mark as read function, again, we'll investigate :)



    P.s. Has anyone noticed that the notifications centre now looks beautiful?! :d (well, at least in the sense that it works!)
