    I think most doctors would recommend about 2 weeks to reduce the risk of infection, and to make sure the cervix has time to get back to normal.

    You'll probably have to go back to the doctor/Hospital/Clinic a few days after the op to have a check up ... It is advisable not to have sex for a couple of weeks.

    They'll also talk to you about your Contraception after the op Too.

    That's right - no sex for 2 weeks. Also, you can't use tampons for 2 weeks after either.
