    You can get them cheap crappy versions but they usually have to be clipped in i think.

    Best bet would be to go to your hairdressers and ask if they do it. I doubt it'd cost much, and you'd be reassured knowing they were professionally put in and werent gonna fall out! :)

    i have black extension streaks.

    they cost £3 per streak, from a hairdressers in Manchester. i know they do them at loads of places in leeds, so just ask around where you live, someone's bound to do them.

    mine are fake hair, so they braid them in for about an inch with your real hair, and then heat seal them so they don't slip out. it doesn't damage your real hair and it's pretty secure.

    i asked for something like 'extensions - loose streaks'...

    i have two on one side and three on the other... they really just look like a big chunk on each side cause they're close together. but if you had them more spaced out they'd look like thick highlights....

    this is where i had them done

    when you find somewhere that does them, print out the pic and take it with you - is always the easiest way...

    Mine costy me £2 per extension when I had them in last summer. They were pink and blue and I had them put in for the leeds festival. They were glued in and stayed in until I pulled them out after six weeks because they were annoying me!

    Toni & Guy is a tad pricey, but for the extensions you want, i think they'd be roughly the same price. At my work they're £3 per piece, they can look pretty cool :)

    Sounds like hair extensions are about to be come fashionable :rolleyes:

    I've had my hair extensions in for about 2 weeks, and I'm in love :D

    I pre-dyed my hair a base colour of black so they don't clash with my natural mousy brown... My extensions are purple and I love them to bits..
    The place I had them done cost:
    1 = £3
    4 = £10
    10= £20

    I have 10 in at the moment, but would like to add some pink as well...

    :D

    No, I don't tend to go to normal hairdressers, cause they never understand the term "a trim"... :rolleyes:

    I went to a hairdressers which is inside an "alternative" store.. you know the buildings with lots of little gothy/greeby shops which usually have a salon. I use those because they know more about non run of the mill hair styles and colours..
