How can I get rid of the evil birds??

There are some magpies(birds who have the most horendous sounding calls that they sound evil) who live in my neighbors tree. But, they love to come on my roof, right by my window and tease my kitty. Their screeching sounds make it imposible to sleep. Ive lost soo much sleep from it. So what i was wondering is, can i shoot the birds and not get arrested or fined?? i dont mind if i get fined cuz its not like they will come back, cuz they will be dead!! its kinda pathetic but me and a few friends when we r bored will hide in my back yard, which is about an acre, and wait for the birds to come pick at the grass. We dont have any bee bee guns or sling shots cuz we arent that experienced in killing things. they always come back ever summer. Even though i could wait till winter for them to be gone, I DONT WANNA. they always come back for fall, spring, and summer. Should i call the exterminator or something that can kill birds??? what should i do??? and dont say "leave the birds alone." cuz they keep me up all night, no matter where im sleeping in my house and im NOT moving houses for birds that can just be killed. Sorry im just a bit cranky about them.

You could contact your local council and ask about getting their nest removed. Near me in Edinburgh we had a problem with seagulls, so the council bought a hawk and since then the seagulls haven't come back!

Put em in a box and send them to devil!

Put something where they perch. Such as wire strung between nails. I've seen buildings use something similar to stop pigeons roosting on window sills.

put a metal plate on your window sill and plug it into the mains,lol, or alternatively just shoot the fucking things. i'm sure i read somewhere that the government were gonna cull a lot of magpies coz there's too many of them. ho hum

ive heard if birds eat rice there stomachs swell up and they die, but i wudnt give u that advice coz im a vegy and dont believe in killing animals !!!
