Just out of interest, how many people here are doing Classics at some stage? I mean Latin or Greek GCSE or A level, Class Civ, etc.

I'm doing Latin and Greek A-levels and going on to do Classics at uni. At the moment I really feel like I'm the only person in the whole world who is.

Please tell me I'm not alone?

Please?

Well I did Latin GCSE and AS level...got a B at AS though and quit cos the new sixth form latin teacher was german and could barely speak english so we were having to teach ourselves really.
Plus those 40 page set texts were bitches to learn off by heart.
Alot of my friends do Classical Civilisation A level.. they say it's pretty easy. But you have to learn about a load of pots or something for AS?!
