Maybe because they realise the truth- its an unjust war , the US bombing some of the poorest people on Earth supposedly in an attempt to destroy a terrorist network they helped set up in the first place.
Ill make a prediction here-the US will stay involved in Afghanistan long enough to build an oil pipeline from Uzbekistan to Pakistan via Afghanistan-thats what they really want-the oil of the central Asian republics.

The Taliban and Bin Ladens group, who were are bombing, are most certainly NOT some of the poorest people on earth. Despite what you may think there is no asserted effort to bomb the people of afghanistan.
So fucking what if they do want the oil? They will pay for it so whats the problem? The oil line would be built anyway once the taliban saw they could make cash from it. If oil were the only reason then the US would have gone into afghanistan years ago...You are a very stupid man if you think the murder of 7000 americans had nothing to do with it.

Yeah yeah, we already know this..The oil thing has been in the papers on on TV, its no secret. If this was simply about the oil then why didnt the US go in after the embassy bombings or the USS cole attack? Either one would have been enough justification for a 'war on terrorism'.
It amuses me no end to hear people talk about the US 'exploiting' the resources of the middle east regions..They pay for every litre of the oil..If theres any exploiting going on its on the part of the arab governments who keep the cash to themselves rather than helping their people.

And a damn good thing too, if it is true. Every day that the West allowed the Taleban to continue to oppress the people of Afghanistan the West put paid to the theory that it had any concern whatsoever for freedom, rights and liberties.
The simple fact is that the Taleban are an oppresive regime regardless of whether or not they happen to be sheltering a given person (bin Laden). To allow such a regime to stand, when it so clearly violates the principles one claims to stand for, and when it is within one's power to do something about it, is in itself a proof that those 'principles' are not principles at all.
So it took 5000+ deaths to make the West move. Perhaps the motivation is revenge, and thus suspect. Action against the Taleban is, however, entirely in accordance with the principle of defence of liberty.
But remember to get your grammer right, you dont want to REALLY tick byny off.
