I wish.. Did some boring books.
Me too. Jane Eyre and Macbeth :yeees:
I'll see your Jane Eyre and raise you Wuthering Heights. :yeees:
Rockerchick - have you tried sparknotes? If you're struggling to get through it, they might have the notes on the main points that exams tend to cover.
I did that, too.
When shall we three meet again, in thunder, lightening or in rain? Or whatever it was.
DO NOT knock Jane Eyre!!!!
you don't have to do Wheights.:p
It was two questions, took up about half the paper
ive never found a book more boring than lotf its sooo naff i quite likes jane eyre to!
When the Hurleyburley's done?when the battles lost and won.
That will be ere the set of sun.
Where the place?
Upon the heath.
There to meet with macbeth
.....i dont know most the play of by heart....Honest!!
had to do the play 3 times in school in various years in lessons!!!
Never had to do LOTF, had wuthering heights, macbeth, poems and my fair lady
yay!
someone educated...
Yeah I second that. Sparknotes have proved really useful to me in the past. Just go to www.thespark.com and click on spark notes, find the ones on lord of the flies and they'll have chapter summaries and notes on the main themes and characters etc that you can print off for free. I use them for all my english literature texts, especially the Shakespeare ones.
That's it! I did it hmm 5 years ago, so no wonder I've forgotten most of it.
 I did it 6 years ago!!
Would have quite liked it had I not been tortured with it by my evil English teacher!
You`ve never read The Mayor of Casterbridge then.
macbeth, of mice and men(very good book!) and the inspector calls
I really enjoyed of mice and men...very sad ending
i saw the play too...a bit different from the book version of it. In the play i saw the house fell down i mean whats with that?
Yep i did all three of those my lucky self, probably due to the fact that we both live in stoke! Inspector calls is actually interesting compared to the other two.....
Hear hear.
Endless pages of describing the bloody countryside...
I thought it was pretty wicked tbh
