when you see the ingredients on cheap packaged food and it says 'and other meats', do you know what other meats mean?
chicken pork and other meat!
nothing is wasted in the food industry. when the frogs legs have been eaten what happens to the rest of the frog? it becomes 'other meat' or simply 'protien'. if your eating 'other meat' you are also eating horse and donkey and kangaroo!
all this is perfectly normal and legal.
and why when i buy a pound of bacon is half a pound of it injected water to push the wieght up? they call these practices legal!

It's unfair on consumers
and it makes me glad I don't eat much meat
i have someone staying with me who's in the food technlogy game. glad when he fucks off this afternoon.
U don't happen to like MacDonalds do you?
They also use these high pressure thingies (damn, what are they called?) that pulls every last scrap of meat off a carcus, so u get all the fat and grisle and everything.
I try to avoid anything like this, just the thought of it knocks me sick.
And the way they keep some of the animals, sick
What about Raccoon? I'm sure Raccoon is in there somewhere too:p
me too. And even when I wasn't, I'm glad I stayed away from all processed meat goods.
I havent ever read what Mr roll has put, i can just imagine lol.
So I havn't read any of the replies, im not gonna be put off for life
damnit, u spelt it clever, I thought it was spelt cleaver.
Is this why so many people thing my name is an incorrect spelling of a big thing u hit meat with?
But yeah, the amount of shit in processed food nowadays is aweful.
OMG!!!
NOOOOOO!!!!
NOoooooOOOo!!!
I don't believe it, it is true
If u knew me at all, u would know I would never give myself a nickname of something to squash meat with
I don't believe it is true.
Oh well, shoulda expected it
It is Klever (like clever, as in smart), but purposely spelt with a K.
Anyway, it is vile some of the stuff they put in meat, and along with all that they put chemicals and so on in the food,
But it is difficult to tell exactly what is put into the food, then it is legally sold to children and fother people, who do not know what they are eating, it is wrong on so many levels.
Rainbow Brite might agree with me here
meh
*other people
So basically everyone.
anyone who eats processed foods is having all sorts of chemicals pumped into their body, half of which haven't been proven entirely safe to be fit for human consumption
You`re overlooking the fact that they sometimes add a small leaf.
Or perhaps they`re suggesting we take them out of the tin?
See, I told u rainbow would be on my side
these things they put in food are so terrible, it's beyond believe
I'd just rather not know what's in it. Terrible attitude to have, I'm sure
LSS
Another problem i have is the cheaper the food, the more preservatives, additives, bulking agents and various chemicals there are in it. Its no wonder that the poorest areas tend to have the worst health problems. An example of this is, I was looking at small pizzas aimed at children recently in tescos. Tescos own brand had tomato and a cheese topping. tescos VALUE brand had a cheese and tomato FLAVOUR topping, and the list of ingredients was over twice as long as the normal tescos pizza ingredient list - it was so full of weird chemicals, now thank God i actually read the ingredients list if im trying a new product, but I know a lot of people dont, and just buy the cheapest thing completely unaware that it could be putting their (and their childrens) health at risk.
and it is a meat cleaver, not a meat clever.
That is what I thought, but obviousely not everyone else does.
And I thought ur were LAcy May for a mo then, stealing her old Av
