hey i was just thinking to myself whats the most important thing to have in a relationship, trust, companionship, sex! anymore you can think of? to me i think the most important thing in a relationship is trust!

i dont know....

i mean you need trust... otherwise you cant have a relationship. but a relationship will fail without the other things as well they are all so important.

tenderness i think some people overlook but it's pretty important and when you start to go without it it drains you completely....

i think they are all important but i think trust mostly as that is a base of a realtionship. because if you dont have trust then your relationship doesnt stand much of a chance does it?

Friendship.

I think from friendship comes everything else you need for a relationship - trust, understanding, compromise and love.

Friendship by definition encompasses all of those things.

As the (very cheesy) love song goes "how can we be lovers if we can't be friends?"

Trust, love, friendship, they make you happy, share the same interests, honesty, understanding, loyal. There's prob loads more that I can't think of yet.
