Recently i have been going to tanning booths. I bought all new clothes and got a haircut and started using scented mens shower gel and being clean shaven all the time. Now girls are paying a lot more attention to me( And good attention) My question is do you girls like a guy who is tanned and looks as though he has been in the sun? Does it look healthy? Does it look Sexy? Thank you!

I personally don't care about tans. I think I actually prefer paler men (unless they're black or Asian or whatever). I think that white men that are heavily tanned appeal less to me than those who don't have a tan. I got nothing against tans - it's just a matter of preference.

i think if its a really dark tan on someone, cant think of anyone now but... you know, people who are like 50 plus and deep brown, when theyre actually white... i dont think thats sexy at all!!

when youve got a tan yourself you feel more attractive and healthy, even though clearly the opposite of healthy is true. but i know i prefer myself to have a slight tan (i burn easily tho so it doesnt often happen!)

i think if the tan looks natural, like youve just been out in the sun during the summer, then it looks good, but i wouldnt choose a tanned guy over a whiter guy, just because one has been sunbathing and the other hasnt (ignoring all other factors here lol)... ithink if youve got a tan when its not been too sunny or anything then it can look a bit odd and you think "why's he so tanned?" ... but i agree that tans cn be sexy. all a matter of personal preference (and use of sun protection cream of at least SPF 15 of course <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif">)

i agree wiv all of ya!it doesnt matter if ur a nice guy...a tan in mid winter looks odd...but tan in summer looks nice..

I actually want to get brown just for a change. Not for a transformation but, i am interested in how girls will respond to me when I am dark.

Umm if u've got freckles forget the tanning. It only looks good in summer than it can be carried off naturally.........

If you're naturally fair skinned then you shouldn't try and get too much of a tan cos it'll just look weird. Don't try and look as if you've spent 6 months on a beach on the Med; I think in this case too little is better than too much <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

I think white people with super dark skin look silly, especially if they have blonde hair. Personally, I like guys who look like they don't try to look good. My boyfriend's asian so he's naturally darker than I am but he's pale for his skin type, and most of my other boyfriends have been pale too. I don't know, I just find people who wear lots of make up or lay out just to get a tan or mess with their hair too much are pretty silly. There are far more important things to worry about! =]

Wilmington's pretty awful. I like Oxford a whole bunch more. The only thing Wilmington has "going" for it is the beach (I'm there now 'working' my awful motel job) and the film industry (dawson's creek, plus a lot of movies). It's actually quite funny, vince vaugn and john travolta were doing a movie here and vince got beaten up, it turns out my boyfriend's neighbors (who we're sort-of friends with) were the ones who did it. The movie industry has taken over the town, no matter where you go there's some starlet or actor who's full of themselves or something. There are lots of orange people here right now getting 'tan' for the summer. ooh.

oh, and yes my boyfriend is wonderful! not because he's asian but because he's just wonderful. and hot. my mother thinks he should be a model =] yesterday was our 6 month anniversary, too. (aww)

In my opinion, a guy with a tan is VERY sexy! A guy who looks after himself is also sexy. And guys think the same about girls i think dont they?!
