Is it normal for people to have breathing difficulties?

when i try to quit i cough......alot......and also eat more and get hot flushes when i get too stressed out.......thats why i havent packed in yet.:rolleyes:

i only smoke when im bored or when im driving. im quite content when sat at home or at a friends , i wont smoke. And i dont smoke when i go out drinkin which i find really weird, just cant stand them.

ive been smoking for 6 years now aswell

I had a bit of a sore throat when I stopped the 1st time. I was coughing and did feel tightness in my chest.

If you are having probs dont leave it too long before you visit the doctor

My mum quit smoking in November and has been to the doctors lots this week as she is having trouble breathing and is coughing up loads of phlem. She had to have an ECG ?? not sure if that's right?

That's just natural for your lungs to react that way because they ain't taking in any more toxins so it's kinda clearing your lungs and getting back to normal.

I am on day 4 today and I feel good but I am wheezing too

i HAD to quit. there were so many reasons why.
1) my mum was going ape every time she saw me have a fag
2) my b/f hated smoking so i couldnt/wouldnt kiss him after i had one
3) i was failing the fittness side of my course due to the fact i couldt breathe properly
4) i had track-e-i-tos(Sp) so it was very very painfull to smoke
5) my aunty has lung cancer
6)i never had any money
there are more but i cant think of any right now
