Everyone gets broody, especially when you see someone with their baby, and you just want one.

But then you think realisticly and think bout the smelly nappys and sleepless nights and then you sort of think again:rolleyes:

i feel broody every now and again too, but my little boy is only just 2, and I dont think i could cope with a baby and a toddler - or even morning sickness and a toddler. Another reason im putting it off is my little boy still wakes up once or twice a night, and I think Id really like a few good nights sleep again before dealing with a newborn too.

aww bless your little cotton socks, you are feeling broody

On second thoughts nooooooooooo!!! yuck me and babies don't mix. People around me say one day I will want a baby, but I am not keen at all- ugh even the thought of it grosses me out. Maybe I just know that I'm not ready for any commitment in terms of babies etc now and think possibly I never will.

Gosh quite a few females feel broody on the site - is this because of the ages of those who have replied and said yes they feel broody?

I have that feeling too :(

My family has an awful history for children , my dads mum had 6 miscarriages and babies that died at birth, my mum nearly lost me I was really early they thought we were both going to die so induced my mum and surprisingly I survived, when my mum was having my sister she had problems and they thought she was going to have spinabifida, my mum nearly died as she had to have a full blood transfusion at 2 days old, and my sister has had at least one miscarriage if not more that I don't know of and suspect her to have had. I'm thin which means you are less likely to concieve, and I just have that terrible feeling that I can't have children like all the time, maybe it's because that is one of my worst nightmares so it's more of a fear thing.

right so who needs a hand making them :naughty:

Serious though I find it quite surprising that so many of you would want kids at such a young age.I dont think i'd be able for kids now!I like them and all but dont plan on getting married until my late 20's!
