DID YOU KNOW: (I didn't!)

The word "Gotten", often assumed to be of American origin, is actually of English origin...
All this time I was annoyed at the yanks saying gotten, when it was us britons not using it properly! Its an archaic word for the past tense of "to get"!

Sorry to bore you lot to death.. I was bored myself, and thought I'd write some chaff...

    i got a better one

    KFC cannot use the name Kentucky Fried Chicken anymore because the animal they use is so genetically modified it cannot be classed as a Chicken!

    Was it not a marketing ploy changing the name?

    Kentucky fried Chicken = unhealthy (coz of the fried bit)

    KFC = Healthy (no fried bit ye see)

    Make more sense to me than a genetically modified chicken. I thought was illegal to sell GM foods in Britain?

    If they claim that they were unaware chickens they were getting were GM then I think they can get away with it! cruel hey!

    Another Fact:
    MacDonalds and Burger King put a chemical on thier chips and burgers which sends a impulse to your brain to make you think that what your body is eating is good, and tells it to produce saliva. In turn when you have finished eating you are still providing saliva and your brain thinks you are still hungry; therfore you buy more food!
