the taliban managed to reduce afghanistans production of opium
by 80%. the most successful anti drugs campaign i ever heard of.
cannabis production was virtualy eliminated.
now that the british and americans "own" the place again, opium production has rocketed to it's highest ever levels. more land than ever before is now under opium cultivation. afghani black...
a very high quality cannabis resin that hasn't been available in europe in any quantity for about 15 yrs is now making a comeback. amazing aye? cash crops to pay for our occupation?

    And they wonder why the war on drugs is a farce.

    the americans have recently said they are no longer targeting columbias drug cartels as they cannot do that and fight the terrorist threat from left wing south american rebels. it is fairly well documented now that the cia developed crack cocaine and shipped it into poor black nieghbourhoods to raise money to fight the contras. wonder what they're upto this time?

    They also supported the Khmer Rouge and his opiate production as well so its little surprise.

    The US gets less and less heroin from the golden triangle/golden cresent anyway. More and more of it is being grown in Colombia.
