Ok, I've been noticing a few posters come from Glasgow, and as the King Of Glasgow I am making a royal proclamation for every Glasgow resident poster to make him/her self known, or forever incur the wrath of not being able to use the tube, mwahahaha! Ok, so tell us, where in Glasgow you live, what you do, full name and address, bank account number and sort code, saving bonds numbers, you know, just the usual stuff....

    I wonder wether Id be able to understand you if you were talking in person to me? I have a problem understanding Scottish people when they are broad scots, they tend to talk to fast for me.

    Anyone else have the same problem?

    I have exactly the same problem. I think Billy Connely is quite funny, when I understand him. I very rarely sit down and watch him though cos I only catch 1 word in every few and it relly starts to piss me off, especially when i'm stoned out of my head and finding it difficult to concentrate in the first place. :eek:

    Im actually from Milton, so just over the back from your school. I used to hang about in Bishy when I was at school, down the park at the back of the sports centre. God I sound like such a Senga! :D

    lol, oh aye, many a Friday night was spent outside those shops waiting on someone going into the offy for us to buy us our bottles of Merrydown and Pulse :D

    my favourite thing about glasgow?i dont know theres just something about it - a charged atmosphere i dont know i just love the buzz of the city centre :D

    Sorry, I meant to reply to this AGGGEEEESSSS ago, but couldn't be arsed searching for it. But I've got decent internet connection at uni, so it's all good. Ok, I'm 20, live in the southside (cessnock) and am currently in my third year at Glasgow uni. Fav thing about the place probably has to be the buildings and architecture, esp up at Glasgow uni, gorgeous! Least fav thing, neds... definitely neds... :rolleyes: :mad:

    Hi. Been away from my computer for a couple of days, so just came across this thread.

    I've lived all over the southside and west-end of Glasgow and I liked living in Queens Park best. Nice Flat, near the park, no neds... well, none for a whole 2 streets!

    Westend is a cool place to live when you're a student but council tax is too high once you're out and working in the real world.

    I'm working for a company out in Germany for 6 months and miss Glasgow so much. Walking down Buchanan Street from the concert hall trying to avoid those "Garanga" monks, Sauchiehall Street at 3am on a Sat nite and getting the buskers to play you random songs, Canton Express after a night in the Garage or lying in Kelvingrove on a sunny summer afternoon... aaaah

    So much for me thinking I wasn't getting homesick. I need to go book a flight home right now!!! Oh well, only another 4 months and I'm back again. Hope to win the Lotto and buy a cool batchelor pad in the merchant city:D
