Workers' rights in a globalized world.

In the US, multi-nationals sometimes get tax breaks for building in a town - like for 10 years. When the 10 years are up, they get a tax break by moving to another town. In Germany, when workers have asked for their fair share, companies threaten to leave or at the least build a new plant elsewhere instead of adding on to the one with the workers who want more.

So what do we do? Encourage your country to have laws that ensure fairness to workers and a fair amount of taxes are paid by the corporations OR forget all that and hope companies come into your country with their jobs?
