Is your girlfriend experienced? If she is then its worth just getting on with it and when the time comes just ask her to show you how its done.
I wouldnt fork out for a dildo yet. Learn how to please each other naturally first and then maybe buy toys when you get more practiced.

sleeping with someone for the first time can be pretty daunting anyway, whether its with a man or a woman,
best thing to do really is to go with the flow, try not to go into it with any pre meditated ideas on how its going to be or what she will expect from you, try not to worry about the things that your doing, as long as you feel comfortable with the things that your doing together, then im sure everything will go fine,
