Does anyone know if you send a message to another country, do you get charged at the normal rates per sms or other rates?

    I know when i went on holiday to Crete it would have cost me about 45p to text someone back here...but not sure abotu that though? I guess it would cost more though.

    Over here, sending an SMS to another country is charged at the same rate as to a local phone.

    So basically, check with your provider.

    Im with vodafone and they usually charge me 20p for international txts, but when I was in Crete, they charged me 20p to send txt, and my friends only 10p to send them to me in Crete. I'unno mobiles confuse me.

    Most companys around the world (of my experience) donøt charge extra when sending an sms out of the country. But do charge extra if you are sending or recieving when being out of the country.
