JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) -- The suspects in the fatal bomb attack on a McDonald's restaurant earlier this month also planned to blow up churches on Christmas Eve, according to Indonesian police.
Major General Firman Gani, the South Sulawesi police chief, said the plot was revealed in interviews with the suspects and searches of their houses that uncovered church blueprints and bomb-making materials including TNT.
