not all true!!!! u dont neccessarily have 2 break itduring sex, it can be broken through exercise or through using tampons.

not for me anyway, i have no idea when it happened, i horse ride n i use tampons n i had sex young too,

Well apparently it can yeah,

like i used to exercise all the horses on the ridin school that werent gonna b ridden in classes and then there was my own horse so some days id spend four hours wiv me legs wide open n if uve ever been on a horse that bucks well u know its easy to whack ur chuff on the front of the saddle, i dont think that would do it but u never know.

but yeah horse riding can do it <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

I don't know if horse-back riding can break the hymen...I doubt it...unless that horse has a seriously bony back. And not just excercise, but stretching a lot can break it.

And for the women where it doesn't hurt to have sex for the first time, the reason is most likely that their hymens have already gotten holes in them...through tampons or excercise or riding your horse...

BTW, that's why some women bleed during their first time. Because when the hymen breaks it can pull at the lining of the vagina a bit and break skin. Hence the famous tradition that the Spanish had...for newly wed husbands to check the sheets for blood after the honeymoon night to make sure the girl was a virgin.

that spanish ritual's stupid, i mean you might get a few drops of blood but it doesnt go all over the sheets or anything!

theres already a hole in it, or else youd have a bit of a prob with your period! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/eek.gif"&gt; yeah it can be broken without you noticing through exercise and tampons and everything like has already been said... but even if you DO do all those things, it doesnt necessarily break it. and the pain varies if its still intact when you have sex.

I always thought it hurt the first few times you have sex because the muscles of the vagina are stretching, not just because the hymen is breaking, since said it's already partially broken to start with ..... or is that just my imagination?
