Mind you this isnt much of a conclusive test on anything given the obviously leading questions and the fact that most posters probably wont appreciate being called "A true American"! lol.

This statement really puzzles me. Where is this tolerance we keep hearing about? I have no doubt many Americans are indeed tolerant, but at government level and the whole country as a whole I cannot think of the US as a terribly tolerant country; not compared with Europe anyway. From very harsh penalties for criminals to a truly reactionary position to alcohol and drug consumption, sex (I understand in some states is actually illegal to have anal sex or even oral sex, let alone gay sex) and an overwhelming presence of christian morals at all levels and rejection of anyone who does not embrace them... Perhaps the compilers of this test feel proud that there are foreigners who are allowed to live in the US without harassment and that it is a sign of a highly tolerant society.
