I think ive touched upon this before, but cant remember when or what i called the post, Grrr!!

Anyways, ive recently come out of a 4 year relationship. The relationship meant that all contact with any of my old mates was lost and stuff.
I'm now in a position where im 22 and i have the following people -
workmates - a bunch of people i cant stand!!
2 mates from work - 2 people i can relate to and get on well with, but one is married and lives miles away and the other is a girl, same ageish.

And thats it.

I really want to have mates, but i simply dont know how to go about getting any.
This sounds pathetic reading it back, but i hope someone knows what i mean....................

It's a cliche, but friends won't come to you, you have to go to them. Go out, join a club, find something you enjoy and find somewhere which offers it. Get out there and meet people
