It sounds like cystitus also known as the honeymooners disease. Its basically a build up of bacteria normally caused by either having to much sex or having sex when you need to go to the toilet.

The symptoms are wanting to go to the toilet every two minutes and nothing coming out and it being painfull when you do go.

You can get these powder sachets from the chemist which you take with water for about three days and it should be cleared up by then. I would also recommend that your girlfriend drinks plenty of water to flush it out. Cranberry juice helps and she should avoid orange juice tomatoes and alcohol.

If its not gone after the satchets then she should see her doctor who will give her some antibiotics.

In future its best if she has a wee before and after sex - not very romantic when your getting down to things I know but its well worth it!

Obviously I am not a doctor and could be wrong but that is what it sounds like.

I think it may well be cystitus. She needn't worry too much about it as it clears very easily. What can help in the short term is to put some bicarbonate of soda in some warm bath water and sit in that for a while.

Get her to see her GP and all will be well.
