Ok, i lent a c.d from a friend a while back and recorded it onto my computer as mp3 files. I changed my mp3 music player from Real Player to Musicmatch Jukebox a while ago and when i did all of these tracks were changed to .RMX files which i can't play on my current mp3 player.

I was wondering if there is any way i can chane the .RMX files to .mp3 files so i can listen to them again?
If there is a way to do this, please tell me how! :confused:

    I've never known a player actually convert all my files, they normally just try to associate the extension with themselves.
    Are they actually in a different format or just renamed?

    I think that the files have been converted because i can't play them on my mp3 player. :confused:

    go download 'neodivx' admittadly designed for ripping dvds but it has an option for doing mp3's from other formats and into other formats too! Well worth downloading!
