Discusting that it cost £20 or that you could buy it over the counter without a prescription...

Personally I think its a good idea, it'll reduce the risk of pregancy, having said that I also think its bad on the basis that some girls may abuse it as being contraception instead of taking other methods like the pill or condoms...

What i don't get is can you still go to the doctors to get the morning after or do you just get the £20 thing only?

and i think it's terrible..... really bad esp as i watched a programme that showed all the wrong type being given out. it think 7/10 were givent he old type which you can't have without prescription.

i watched that programme 2 kat, just goes to show dunnit.
i agree with justin credible, it is a good idea but it will just encourage some people 2 use it as a form of contraception.

when i had the morning after pill i went to the fmc and didnt have 2 wait for an apointment or anything.

Personally I think it's fine to charge people because otherwise it will just turn into another form of contraception. I don't see really why it should be available free in the first place. I mean, sure mistakes happen, but all mistakes in life cost you and if you have to pay quite a bit for it you'll think again before getting yourself into a situation like that another time.

I think the price is reasonable seeing as the person who's buying it didnt even think to spend £1 (or woteva it is) on condoms. No offence to ur friend or nething but she got herself into the situation so cant complain bout the price really.

Usually £2 for 3 from most pub toilets, in garages its usually less about £1.69

You can also like buy these packets of 10 or 50 from places like boots

i think its a very reasonable price. acts as a deterrent to maybe not get in the situation next time.

i mean, come on... condoms are hardly expensive are they? and the normal pill is free ffs. so either get that sorted, or get the morning after pill for £20. perfectly reasonable.

but i dont think it should be used as a form of contraception, there should be some way of telling how often people are using it, a record should be kept i think so you cant take it more than 3 times in 6 months, or whatever it is the doctors say.

the pill is for emergencies only (well, thats what we have been taught at school).

Condoms are the main method to use and are not expensive and are a good investment!

That 'three times only' thing is just a scare story, so don't worry. The new brand of post-coital pill that's been in use for the last few months has much less of a chance of making you feel sick too.

Cost me £5.99 for 9 condoms!
Used up in 2 days. This is turning out to be almost expensive as phone top up cards! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">
