Can men and women sustain healthy platonic relationships? Is it true that a man and a woman cannot have a friendship without any underlying sexual tension?

    Men and women can be really good friends without any sex involved, I have a lot of male friends who I get on better with than some girls and don't feel any sexual feelings towards them!:)

    Me and my best friend have been friends since we were about 7 and there's never been any sexual tension between us.

    We know each other better than we know ourselves! I can honestly say I don't find him remotely attractive - although other woman say he's gorgeous!:rolleyes:
