Help! 2girls, dilemma.

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I am, in a tricky situation at the moment. Last year at Reading festival, I got with a girl who's my mate's cousin.I saw her again around christmas time and we got together again. The chemistry between us is amazing. She got my number last week and we've started texting each other, and things look pretty good for Reading festival this weekend.

All's well, but today I asked a really nice girl (Kerry)at work out for a drink, and she said yes. I'm going out with her tomorrow night, the only problem with her is that she is 16. I'm 18, I dunno if the age gap is too much.

The main problem is that if I get serious with the girl at work, then will I have cheated on her while we are technically going out??
And will I be cheating on the girl from Reading if I start seeing the girl from work?

I doubt anything serious will happen 2moro with the girl from work, so could I get out of the cheating dilemma by avoiding anything too deep until after the festival?
Please help, I'm in a right muddle yet again.

If you liked the Reading girl so much then you wouldn't have asked the girl from work out for a drink.
And vice versa, if you liked girl from work so much you wouldn't even contemplate having a shag-a-thon with said Reading girl.

This is called 'having your cake and eating it' and as Lacy pointed out, is cheating.

However, if you're just going out for a drink with girl from work and nothing at all happens, then I suppose it might be ok to have said weekend with girl at Reading, as long as after that you make up your mind which one you want and stop stringing them both along.

Also, hope girl from work looks old enough to drink as it would be mighty embarrassing if they don't serve you alcohol when you're out with her cos she's too young, lol!

The age thing shouldn't matter, it isn't too big. She'll be finished school by now I assume if she's 16 so I wouldn't worry about it.

I stand by what I said. I think beer4breakfast should at least date both girls for a while, be honest with them if he likes (unwise) but the only way the guy will see witch girl he gets on with better.

Interesting to see the male/female perspective in the respondents!

In my mind, it's absolutely not right. But then, what will that matter?

Why don't you go for a drink and see how you get on. As soon as you know which one you like let the other down. Though saying that i wouldn't like that to be me. Maybe you should just pick one and go for it!

As far as I'm concerned, it isn't cheating until there is a proper relationship. That said, you have thrust this problem on yourself. You'd have been better off sticking with Reading girl, to be honest.
