So being single can be great - you get more time to hang out with your mates, have more 'you-time' it can be hassle free, there is no significant other to worry about....

...but after reading this article about the price of being single, is there a financial side we need to think about? Going to the theatre, movies, on holiday and even gym memberships offer awesome deals, for couples and groups, but what happens if you are single? Do you still get the same benefits?
This got me thinking, what are some of the best things about being single? And what are some of the worst? Have any of these examples in the article ever happened to you?
