Liver Damage

Hey,

So I've had liver damage since May last year caused by overdoses and excessive drinking..

Recently my liver has being SO much more painful, and I'm basically overdosing to dim the pain a little.

I want this year to be the year that I'm healthier, and look after myself, but it's SO tough.

I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday, but that's only to get my sick note updated, would it be worth bringing it up then?! And what can I do in the mean time?!

Yes and don't drink alcohol. Try detox a little. Lots of water

You should definitely talk to your GP. The NHS recommends abstinence to avoid exacerbating the condition ([URL=" http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Liver_disease_(alcoholic)/Pages/Treatmentpg.aspx"]here[/URL]), and you should also talk about pain killer use.

If the pain becomes unbearable before your appointment, try am emergency appointment or 111.
