SOOO worried I'm pregnant!

You will get better advice from women, but;

1. The first times that you take the pill, it is irregular and funny while your body adjusts to the hormonal patterns.

2. Get a test if you're thinking you're pregnant. I say this so often, but a test avoids all confusion, panic and worry, by making it clear.

3. A bus? Oh. My. God. <IMG SRC="eek.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

yeah. in your first few months of taking the pill, your body doesn't know if it's coming or going...

the best thing to do is take a test, if only to put your mind at ease... you can get them free from most doctors or family planning clinics...

most likely you're fine and the pill is playing hell with your hormones.

but isn't it best to know.

    and yeah. a bus???

the first month that i was on the pill i got worried too, my period didnt start until the 5th day. Now it always comes on the 5th and is always regular.
That first month tho i was worried, since then i've never had sex without a condom, it just isnt worth it.

Do as everyone says and just take a test. You don't even need to pay for it as both the docs and family planning clinics will do it free and confidentially. It's merely a case of weeing on a stick!!!

In future though I would suggest that you use a condom even if you are on the pill. There's the whole issue of STD's and stuff to worry about too don't forget.

Also, whilst your at the docs mention about your pill and being late and all that. Some of them do play absolute havoc with your hormones and it can take time to find one that is suitable for you. Periods do tend to be irregular though when you first go on it so it would seem unlikely that you are pregnant.

Good luck .... and I'm sorry but I have to say this ... a bloody bus!!!

if you think that for one second that you could be pregnant you shud get a test. then if it is postive then you can go to ur chemists and get the morning after pill - which you can only take up to 3/4days after having sex.
if i were you, haveing taken the morning after and knowing that i had been pregnant, i would go and get a test 1st thing tomoro morning.

    good luck! <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

a test can be taken on the first day of your missed period, which would probably be too late to take the morning after pill. if its more than 3 days since youve had sex, then the MAP wouldnt work. up to 7 days later you can have a coil fitted which would prevent a pregnancy. other than that your only choices would be to have an early abortion (very simple, they dont even keep you in overnight) or to have a child. fingers crossed that your not pregnant

Just do a test, at least you will know where you stand.
