Birthday ideas for when kids are in tow?

Hello lovely people!
Thought I'd pick your brains. My friend turns 30 this year and I'm visiting her just before she turns 30. Wanted to do a little something special to celebrate it, but the main caveat is that her 1-year old son will be in tow. I think it's gonna be three female adults and the baby, and I'd already thought that I could occupy the little man while I got the girls to do something. We're set with feeding the baby lunch at 12, and then getting them home for 6pm for the next meal.
Thought I'd pick your wonderful brains as currently all I've really got in mind is trying to find a day spa/Debenhams beauty counter that'll accept kids in an area. She lives just north of Blackpool, so ideas around this area would be appreciated!
