Hi !
I am from India , a Bachelor in Mechanical engineering and now looking forward to an MBA in the UK.
I have an offer from University of Liverpool and wanted to know how good the university actually is??

The University has shifted the MBA program out of the LIPAM in to the new Business School ... will this help improve the reputation.

Suggestions on this will be helpful.

Regards,

Harpreet

Although I am not at that University, I have been to an open day and from what I can see it is a very nice place, with regards to studying and socialising. The city itself is also very nice and there is lots to do, if you don't mind the scousers.. :D [locals]. The University has a very high academic record and is one of the top Universities in the country.

*Stops as he realises that he sounds like a prospectus.. * :D

Which University hombre'? I have mates at all of the Liverpool Universities - all three of them.

I usually stay in Toxteth area which really isn't that bad, the nightlife is very good and there are LOTS of students. All I can say is that you will have a good time...

    Good luck with your choice/path

My brother goes there and thinks it's great. It's not good for all courses but for most it has an excellent reputation. It's basically a high standard traditional red brick university and there is lots to do socially.
