    That's from a very long time ago. There was a show in the 60s(?) where everyone was called by a number. The main character was called Number Six (the quote). And the perimeter was guarded by balls(?)

    Yes, it was from The Prisoner! A cult classic now (I have it on DVD) but at the time when it was first shown (60's) people hadn't got a clue what was going on!

    I've twice had a weeklong holiday at Portmeirion. On neither occasion did rover prevent my depature.

    Haha, yes I've visited Portmeirion aka the Village myself and rover didn't prevent my departure either.
