Nerve pain in feet?

I got woken up during the night with really bad pain in the heel in both feet and I can't put any weight through the heel, so I've been hobbling about like the sugar plum fairy but even that's starting to hurt. Anyone had similar? My feet are rarely somewhere that hurt unlike the rest of my body! I've called the NHS 111 service (who are utterly useless) and they said its non urgent and I should go see my GP in the next 3 days. Great! Apart from the fact I can't really walk.

Any ideas?
