New tattoo

So I got a tattoo done nearly a week ago and it's started to scab and become itchy. The tattooist said to try not to put anything on it as it will look better in the long run, as when she's used bepanthen it's took the colour out.

Is there anything that will help stop the itchiness and not pull the colour out?

I always use Savlon. Never had any problems. That said, it should itch when it gets scabby, I thought.

Yeah I think it's just cos she said to avoid putting anything on it.

When it gets itchy, give it some light slaps. It helps the itchy feeling, but you won't run the risk of breaking the skin.

Oh aye savlon. Why didnt i think of that. Also soph I have a cream that I sometimes use to stop my skin itchying when its bad. Its called eurex i think thats how you spell it
