Bad dream...why?

Didn't know where to post this......
Some years ago I dreamt that I was surrounded by lots of dead trees, like trees with no branches and they were grey in colour. The ground was on a mucky grey.......Come to think of it, it seemed like a fire had been there and it just left light grey ash all over the place.
Anyway, there was an extremely small hut. It was pitch black inside. I crouched down in the hut and that's when I woke up....I felt awful, like I wanted to be sick. It wasn't a good feeling.
I dreamt it last year too.
Why did I have the dream?

It's a dream, dude. Nothing more. Your subconscious probably recognised similarities in the previous dream and you were lead down to re-dreaming that same dream again.
