I met somebody off the internet last week... Well, we talked a few days on messenger and then met... First date, I was so shy, we started to txt a lot... Third date, we just stayed up all night talking. It was awesome... 27 years and I don't think I have connected like this with another person.

I'm really naive at relationships. I don't believe in soul mates, or "the one"... This just feels so different...

But we've only met three times (granted, we've talked for hours, kissed, cuddled)... I don't know why I feel so good about it. I don't want to be one of those people who loses their head... I'm normally very balanced and rational...

This person feels the same... I am fucking scared.

Somebody talk some sense in to me please.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with feeling this way about someone. I understand you're trying not to get carried away in case it goes tits up but it might not.

Take it slow, day by day and keep reminding yourself that this could go either way so its ok to be excited and scared at the same time
