Hey there :wave:
Just wanted to let you all know about a new competition that was launched today here at TheSite Towers.
To push your resourcefulness to the limits, TheSite.org is challenging you to make the most of five pounds through the Fiver Challenge – it could be something spectacular, something ingenious or even something humbling. It's up to you to decide exactly how much a fiver is really worth, and for the best ideas of what you would or have done with five pounds, we'll be giving away six new iPads. The Fiver Challenge is also a chance to show off your inventiveness, whilst at the same time helping out your fellow peers, with examples of ways to best stretch their cash.
If you live in the UK and are aged between 16 and 25, to be in with a chance of winning simply submit a photo, a video or 200 words (minimum) post to our new Facebook page of what you have or would do with a fiver.
There are six categories you can enter (ranging from most entertaining to most fulfilling), each with a top prize of an iPad. The five most 'liked' entries from each category (voted for by you, your friends and members of the public – so get sharing) will go to our team of judges to decide the overall winners of the challenge.
So, you've got a crisp fiver in hand, but what are you going to do? :chin: You could party it away, make a sumptuous treat, find the bargain of the century or invest it in someone else? It's up to you and your imagination. Then, once you've got your idea, let us know: take a photo, video or a short blog illustrating what you've done and upload it to our competition page for your chance to take part, help others and win a great prize!
This competition is sponsored by the Citi Foundation, who will purchase the prize on your behalf if you successfully impress our judges (who include the Guardian and Charlieissocoollike).
Closing date for entries is Friday 29th of April. Winners will be announced after the 16th of May.
