the report button..

So, when you use it. Especially for spam. What do you put? Are you serious, or like me, and have a laugh..

I usually put

"spammy spam spam spam"

"mr spamman" while humming the song Mr sandman.

Or new one today, "spamwhich" yes... I was hungry...

    If it's spam, think my usual approach is Ham, Spam, Strawberry Jam.

    Seems more interesting than straight Spam.

    It varies. When I was reporting spam often, I used to change it like "spam" "spim" "spum" "spom" etc. Lately I comment on the spam itself. Like "intelligent spam" if it doesn't look automated or "funny spam" or "clever spam" if it's disguised as non-spam etc.

    I've always been tempted to use it to write love letters to the mods when reporting spam, but never quite been there (yet)

    I usually just put "spam" for obvious spam, or "spam?" if I'm not sure if it is sufficeintly spammy to justify reporting.

    If I think it's spam, but I also think it's not obvious, I put why I think it's spam

    Usually something a bit jokey. I once spotted some spam in the wee hours after coming back from a night out and ended up going off on a tangent about how drunk I was. I'd love to read what I wrote actually.

    I reported a few when we had that recent upsurge. I normally just write something boring, saying that the spammer is advertising and posting irrelevant stuff etc.

    I usually go for "spam" or I think once I wrote (or was tempted too; can't remember which) "Spam, spaaaaam, spam, spaaaaam, spam, spaaaaaam.... lovely spam! lovely spam! etc etc"
