    I agree with what Frank Skinner said tonight on Have I Got News For You - Rooney cheated on his wife with hookers, abandoned his club, and now he turns his back on Man U. Yet he still had the cheek to question the loyalty of England fans in the world cup.

    1. He was by far the best player in the league until his injury in Munich in the CL, rushing him back is what cost him in the World Cup. He wasn't far wrong if, as he is quoted as saying, he suggested that he carried United last year.

    2. I'm not entirely sure why his personal life should have anything to do with his salary?

    3. This bit I agree with. He has treated the club and fans badly. This week. However, that's one week since 2004. It'll take the fans a while to recover but they will when he starts knocking in the goals again. Form is temporary, class is permanent.
