I suspected I may, but I won't post any more weird threads from now on.

I think it's weird how you post one to three-word replies to certain questions/topics, but long and detailed answers on others.

    It's how people are.

    I agree.

But I don't harass anybody. It's not wholesome to do so.

It is unwholesome for people not to let others do what they want.

It depends on what you want to do.

To get the normal knowledge of life. And please don't baulk or be irate. It is not such a far-fetched wish. I've been denied it, and I want it.

"I want" doesn't get you anywhere.

I disagree, I see nothing wrong with improving oneself and advancement. It is humans' nature to grow.

And also, getting what I want will make me more at ease and more content, and no reasoned/wholesome person would deny others the right to that, provided it hurt nobody else.

You're making it sound like I'm doing some inviolable wrong, and if it's worse than Stalin. But I am not hurting/harming anybody. I couldn't care less if people hate for me for advancing myself. IMO, it's a fairly silly reason to despise somebody, and if they opt to despise people for that reason then they're not people I wish to be around anyhow.

Can't be bothered to watch the youtube clip, but all the other one talks about is development of speech. I'm fairly certain that you can speak.

Actually, worth watching the youtube clip grace.

The content of the video is pointless, but the guy in it has a kick-ass bow tie on.

Is this just an attempt to deflect the issue?

No. Also, see Butterflykisses' comment above: 'the content of the video is pointless.'

    ie. both links are pointless.

why are they pointless? Is this another deflection?

Why can't I have the same awareness that everybody else has by default? If your only answer is that it's "just so" or some other mystic nonsense belief, then I'm not interested in it.

Give me links to relevant texts that support what you're saying.

And please don't dismiss. You should be citing such research to counteract the ones I cite.

I'm not trying to prove a point though.

it's a valid point though. everybody is to to that level of development, and I am not. And don't pooh-pooh it. Are you a medical professional?

Not everybody is at the same level of development. Seriously, where the hell did you get that from?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
See, you're dismissing it, and without providing any source to refute it. You know that is the standard research outline. If not, then as I said, refute it.

So, which elements of childhood development is it that you missed out on?

That is not true. The link outlined the norm. Medicine cannot exist without norms to benchmark against.
