    Surely you want to be slimming it down not adding to it ...so it might have a chance of running as fast as XP?

    In Windows 7, if you disable the transparent aero glass feature, animated announcements, desktop composition feature, art style tool bars. Then block ads and other scripts.

    Hell not only does it begin to look like Windows XP but it nearly works as fast too.
