Slightly more complicated, but really not.

    Select random vegetables.
    Chop into dice sizes chunks
Put in big oven dish in oven for 45 mins
    Remove
Pour over tin of chopped tomatoes
    Stir
    Slice potatoes thinly
    Use to top dish
    Cover with foil
return to oven for 45 mins
Take foil off with about 15 mins to go

Voila yummy roast vegetable farmhouse bake, you look like a domestic god(dess) for being able to chop veg.

More a tip than a recipe.

Freshly grated nutmeg in a white based (basic white/onion/cheese) sauce. About 1/2 teaspoon. V.yummy especially in cauliflower cheese and lasagne.

Oh man, Mr K taught me this. So easy, yet SO tasty. :yum:

You can make cheesy garlic bread in a similar way, but only works with a grill:

toast bread until it is toasty enough to rub the garlic on, but not browned
    rub on garlic
    butter bread
    sprinkle with cheese
    grill

For all the garlic bread variations... I've always done toast, butter, garlic powder, other topings, broil

Easier and cleaner and very garlicy and you don't have to mess about with your hands stinking of garlic after trying to rub it on bread, however that works.

    chocolate cake in 5 minutes

Don't come to me and complain that it tastes like the rectum of a marsupilami. I never claimed it was really edible.
I said I was going to try this and I did. However, because I didn't have any cocoa powder, and everyone is making chocolate, I altered the recipe.
    1

I put in 4 tbsp of strawberry quick and used ap flour since i didn't have cake flour. It was hard to mix.

    2

Here's the finished product. It tastes a little like strawberries, and a little like failure.

    3

And not to forget an easy recipe for Huevos Rancheros:
Since this quick cake appears to be a colossal failure, and in the interest of culinary experimentation, allow me to provide you good people with a super-delicious alternative, my five-minute, microwaved Huevos Rancheros!

As it stands, it's one of the simplest and quickest microwave recipes, and boasts one of the most flavorful experiences in regards to other stuff you've tried to cook with microwaves.

    Ingredients:

    2 Huevos
    1 Rancheros

    Instructions:

Place eggs in a cup, put salsa on it.

Put in microwave for 3 minutes on maximum power (1000watt)

Scoop contents back into the mug enjoy!

Seasoning should go without saying, I did forget the buffalo, you're right there....but with a mild salad onion - it does work very well. Chives even, which technically is an onion. But I take your point.

I did mention olive oil though....I was not that pissed.

Heat a few drops of oil in a pan.
Stir in 1 part dry basmati rice until coated
    Add 2 parts boiling water.
    Reduce to simmer. DONT STIR.
When all the water's gone, you have loverly rice without having to rise or drain it. WOO!
Stick it in a wok with some cooked pancetta, ginger, garlic and veg and you have a stir fry :P

In Brazil they do all of the above, but in with the oil goes a little salt garlic and onion, you effectively fry off the garlic then add water. That is how to make tasty, rather than bland rice - as an accompaniment rather than for a stir fry.

 you can also do it with cumin, coriander, turmeric, chilli, ginger onion, raisins (some things I'm forgetting too) and sealed chicken to make biryhani (sp). The list goes on!
