I am a bit obsessed with baking at the minute.
Has anyone got any good recipes?
I made some caramel shortbread and a cheesecake today. Made cookies (lots of different ones!) the other week and I have also been making alot of lamingtons (australian cakes that my boyfriend loves!!! he is from australia originally). Have also been making alot of different sponge cakes (normal victoria sponge, chocolate fudge, etc!) .
I think I might try and make some pretty cupcakes next
Oooo and has anyone made chocolate brownies? I fancy trying to make some of those!

Oh my god, that all sounds lush, I'm starving now! Kaff's the person to ask about cupcakes I reckon...but I made some chocolate brownies a while back following this recipe: http://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/recipes/266320/Sophie-Grigson-s-chocolate-and-pecan-brownies and they were really delicious and relatively easy to make. Highly recommended!
oh gawd, its the nicest stuff EVER!!!!!
the recipe you gave me makes LOADS! it looks like my fella will be going into work again with loads of treats. theres just too much for just us two!
i can't wait to have babies so i can bake nice things for them all the time
As for the best ever cookies... monster cookies! But no raisens, gross. Substitute them for butterscotch chips.

I used to love making cheesecakes like cookie dough and apple almond and candy bar and blueberry swirl, but I'm the only one that eats them so they go bad before they are gone and always seem like such a waste
i perfected my brownie recipe last week after roughly 8 years of changing it
I have a spare bedroom...
Right now I'm working my way through the cheesecake (not a "real" cheesecake, but yummy especially with the layer of chocolate ganache on top of the crust), and there was tiramisu and cheese-marbled brownies before that. Baking RULES.
Most of my blog is about what I cooked or failed at cooking.
giant jaffacake ftw!

Tastes sickeningly sweet when you first try it but then the lime kicks in all tangy and zingy. I didnt cut out the segemnts of lime, i just used the juice.
This http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/type-of-dish/entertaining/fresh-coconut-layer-cake.html looks beautiful when done. Really needs to be eaten on the day you make it. Grating fresh coconut is a pain in the arse though
Yay food porn :yippe:
cupcakes me and my ridiculously smart cousin made. check out her clockwork orange style cupcake! :birthday:

I got the recipe from a website. I had seen them when looking for a different recipe and thought it sounded wrong so said I would make them some time.
