We're excited to let you know that on Tuesday 16th February from 7-8pm the author Saci Lloyd will be joining us for a live chat.
Saci recently hit the headlines when she turned down Johnny Depp’s offer to make her Carbon Diaries books in to a film. Maybe you've read them?
Her first novel 'The Carbon Diaries 2015' was published in 2008 and was shortlisted for the Costa Children's Book Award 2008. 'The Carbon Diaries 2017' followed in early 2010.
Saci is also head of Media at Newham Sixth Form College and previously worked as a script editor for Camouflage films. So if you’re a budding author or a fan of Saci’s work or just want to know how she could turn down Mr Depp then why not come along and ask her a question.
