Last minute christmas shopping

I am personally a fan of the 'christmas eve dash'. Get all your shopping done in a quick and highly charged afternoon!

I hate having to wait for presents off the net as i'm always worried the order has been lost/ won't come on time.

What's everyone shopping strategy?

    I'm really organised, I hate leaving it to the last minute and allow myself plenty of time to buy stuff off the net so I can make the most of the bargains!

    Christmas Eve shopping is equally a gamble because you can't be 100% certain that everything you need is available during the rush.

    I visit my parents for christmas and things are cheaper there with less tax so for some things I wait until I'm up there but usually do most a while before christmas. Though this year I've knit socks for my parents and for some reason I just cannot finish the last one for my mom. I just don't want to :p

    no, if you want stuff online the last day to get stuff before christmas is the 21st. I did this last year aswell. I'll never learn

    This year i've gathered stuff throughout the year, and then got the rest in the last couple of weekends.

    Got most of mine online and just going to finish my shopping on Christmas Eve. I don't bother shopping early for Christmas, never have. Tradition in our house for the menfolk to shop christmas eve. Not having a brother i decided to take on the tradition of the last minute shop. Plus it's never as busy Christmas Eve which is great.

    Did some last minute shopping today at wal mart today... I have lost my Christmas spirit because of it.

    Today I finished my xmas shopping off, got the rest on monday. It's weird now I'm just buying for immediate fam / secret santa though, what once came to about £60-£70 for xmas is down to £30-£40.

    managed to order from play.com in time for my mum's boyfriend's present.. fingers crossed my boyfriend's games come in time for the 28th. bahhh.
