last night rather stupidly sent my mate a text message, but because he's lost his mobile, his mums landline is the preferred number in my phone. so the text message has gone to the landline (i think). he's not at home, i DON'T want her to get this message, what do i do? (i realise i am totally at fault)

Will she know's it you from the content of the message or the number? If not, if she rings just ask if it's a random person. When they say no, apologise for texting the wrong number. Just hope she doesn't recognise your voice. problem solved.
